David began his career as a Project Leader for Products/Services at GE Capital's Information Technology Solutions division. After developing a Y2K remediation strategy that was implemented in 13 countries, he took over the management of the Y2K project for the business as a whole. After Y2K, David was reassigned to GE Capital Corporate as a Black Belt focused on global improvement projects, including IT support and help desk organization, e -sourcing digitization, company-wide cost savings initiatives, and international crisis management. As a GE-certified Black Belt, David was responsible for coaching and training other Green and Black Belts. He was soon recruited by MetLife to work with their Long-Term Care Group in implementing and improving the quality of a federal government joint venture with John Hancock. He also created MetLife's first core business metric dashboards to improve the overall quality of the insurance experience. Upon completion of these projects, David moved on to help launch a new Black Belt program at Pitney Bowes. As Director and Master Black Belt, he supported a number of business units with their individual needs and objectives.
In late 2003, David decided to transfer his drive to improve business strategy and efficiency to an arena in which he would have the greatest opportunity to produce change and make an impact. He joined Erik McCauley as a principal at IT Technology with the mission of strategically repositioning IT Technology's operations to a 100% client-centric model. David and Erik are working to take the business to the next level in the small business sector as the premier IT-outsourced resource in the CT and NY markets.
David has a J.D. from St. John’s School of Law. He lives in New Canaan, CT with his wife Robyn and daughters Dylan Elizabeth and Skylar Alexandra and is an avid golfer.
