Fred Purdue is the Director of Technology for IT Technology. He is responsible for developing the firm's customized IT product offerings and architectures. Fred ensures that the company delivers the highest quality service to its clients. He also works with Erik and David to develop the company's long-term business goals and manages the project team’s ever changing product offerings.
Fred has spent the last 10 years working on both sides of the professional services market. In 1995 he started off as a Unix & NT Systems Administrator for Bristol Technology and in 1998 was recruited by a boutique Connecticut consulting firm as a lead engineer and senior project manager. While there he developed and managed multiple large-scale systems deployment and development projects ranging from 50 to 1500 desktops. From there he went to Wall Street as the Director of Information Services for Document Technologies, a software development and financial services firm and was responsible for all telecommunications and technology infrastructure in a 24 hour, 7 day a week financial services environment.
In 2002 Fred seized a unique opportunity and founded The Axiom Consulting Group, an IT consulting company that focused on small to medium-sized organizations in the metropolitan area. IT Technology recruited Fred to bring his consulting operations expertise into their business to help take the company to the next level. His knowledge of operations methodologies and service management has improved IT Technologies competitive edge and built a superior service model. |
