Erik P McCauley is the Founder and Chief Information Officer of IT Technology Services Inc. From his earliest days designing the PC lab for Towne & Country private school in Pasadena, CA, to his high school days assisting in the deployment of the Media Lab for Greenwich High School in Greenwich, CT, technology has always been his passion. During high school, Erik worked as a Sales Associate and PC Repair Technician for Egghead Software. Following graduation, he served as the Assistant LAN Administrator for the Town of Greenwich assisting in system wide helpdesk and deployment support while creating & maintaining the town’s website. During his stay at Bentley College in Waltham, MA, Erik founded IT Technology, a PC & network services company catering to the College and its faculty, students, and also to local businesses.
Prior to college, Erik began working at Wholesale Computer Products in Stamford, CT. Wholesale Computer Products had been a trusted IT resource in Fairfield County for nearly 20 years. Erik was responsible for the building and servicing of PC's and within 6 months became Technical Director, overseeing all engineers. After returning from Bentley, IT Technology partnered, and 6 months thereafter, took over operations of Wholesale Computer Products. With an educational background in business, a knack for explaining complex technology in layman's terms, and the conviction that good service is only possible with a thorough understanding of the client's objectives, Erik quickly grew the business.
Erik's primary focus continues to be maximizing the client experience by providing a level of service to small business generally reserved only to large organizations with substantial IT budgets.
